Lello is featured ‘quite nicely’ in this weeks ‘Women’ magazine in a feature on Valentine’s gifts.

Not sure the editor realised that they had uploaded an image from our ‘Little Lello‘ range so it would only be suitable for little girls and teenagers. Mind you it does fit me so as long as your wrist isn’t too large you’d be ok. Secondly… it’s currently out of stock, oh dear!

But of cause there are many more styles to choose from our website.

Many of the images which appear in magazines like this are uploaded from a company many of us manufacturers subscribe to. The editor simply types in ‘heart shaped jewellery‘ a hundreds of images from companies like Lello, pop up! So we have absolutely no control over which image they choose, nor the opportunity to suggest images, nor do we know when the image will be published.

Nevertheless we are very grateful they choose us!

I can’t believe we have sunshine gleaming through our windows here at Lello, I might just pop out now at lunch time.

We are still touching up some of the photography from the photo shoot we held at the begining of the week so I am hoping to upload those pictures later today/tomorrow.

I’d like to say a huge thanks to ‘Outfit’ the clothing retailer as all the clothes for our Spring Summer photoshoot were loaned to us by them. There are some lovely little items, a beautiful ‘Warehouse’ cream lacy blouse and much more. When the photos are loaded you will see for yourself.

My daughter Heidi’s clothes for the shoot were bought from Next as they don’t loan out their clothes! but I knew I would make good use of them after the photos were taken.

I think she was a bit disappointed I didn’t put her in something pretty but it was important to have her in something plain to show off our new jewellery. Log on tomorrow for our Fashion find of the week!

We got away from the NEC Clothes show last night at 8.40pm and I finally got home in my van at 10pm! so to say I am tired today is an understatement.

We met lots of lovely people at the show and did our utmost to spread the ‘Lello word’.

We felt the attendance was down on last year, perhaps due to the recession and also that customers were very reluctant to part with their hard earned cash. But like last year it was a worth while show and I would hope that we will be in attendance again next year.

The van is now unloaded and we are updating the website with lines which sold through at the Clothes show. The most popular items at the show were our Roma Bracelet, the Keepsake Necklace in metal antique finish, our large heart Alice necklace (shown in the pic below), Little Lello and Vintage Rose (show below, the very pretty pink beaded bracelet with embedded flowers) to name a few.

We have hopefully directed a lot of new visitors to our website and look forward to keeping them in touch with our plans for 2010.

I must say I picked up some fab bargains! The Clothes show is definitely the place to go for lovely and very affordable part dresses, make-up and jewellery.

…….It’s nice not Not be at The Clothes Show today! The weekend was extremely busy but all the stands have commented that customers are reluctant to part with their money this year.

We had a major panic on Saturday morning when the lead snapped in the credit card machine and my husband drove up to the NEC with a spare one, just in time for the rush.

We have met lots of lovely ladies over the past few days and I will upload some film of a few of them tomorrow. Our Little Lello has gone down a storm with teenagers! and it was a great oppotunity for us to study all the current trends and find what our customers liked and didn’t like. I am hoping we have introduced a lot more women to Lello.

Today is all about getting on top of orders, especially from Amazon as this is meant to be the biggest week for shopping on the internet. I am also catching up with all the new Spring Season samples which have arrived in the office over the weekend, so lots to do……..

Little Lello Children's Jewellery

The new necklaces and bracelets are so pretty I think we will have all the mums wearing them, let alone their daughters. In stock September 2009!

Sat outside Lello this morning are two roofers waiting to start on the flat roof above our office. My only problem is that it has been raining a lot this morning. What they hope to achieve I have no idea. But we need them to fix the roof. It’s their job so I am sure they know what they are doing?!

Our re-stock of Little Lello is due in any day which is great news as we have sold out of the whole range, the stock will be available on-line again by early next week.

Our new pearl rings we are launching for Autum / Winter have come in for us to approve and they are lovely! We have had them made in pearl, grey and black with expandable sterling silver bands.

I think they will be a great addition to the variety of glass pearl jewellery we have on offer.

They will retail for £9.99, they will make the perfect gift! or just a nice treat for yourself.

We found at the recent Clothes show in London that not only children but adults too were buying our new ‘Little Lello’ range. Petite women and people who simply preferred less chunky jewellery were drawn to it.

We’re now back from PG Live and the Clothes Show ready to start packing all of the orders we received. It was great to meet so many of you and hear all of the great comments about our ranges of cards and jewellery.
