Well not really, I just thought it sounded good. We are working to a deadline though which is this afternoon. Finishing off some lovely new jewellery samples for a potential new client. Although planned and scheduled as with everything you can’t help using up every second available to get the job done.

I have been writing content for the pages of our new brochure, something I really enjoy but need to be in the right mind set for and today it seems to be flowing rather well.

Still busy making Christmas cards with some big deliveries going out in the next few days.
Waiting to see our lovely new mock ups of ‘yellow’ Lello point of sale to offer our trade customers for their counter tops and shop windows and awaiting to hear when next week our jewellery deliveries will start arriving.

Where has the week gone? Like most working mums my diary is full to over flowing over the next few weeks and I almost feel like taking it to bed with me so I can keep on top of everything I have on with work, children and home in the run up to Christmas!

What are we up to at Lello today?

Half of the team is away at a meeting today, the other half of us are ordering bags and envelopes and all manner of card related objects. I have a lovely costing excercise to fill my afternoon with. Meanwhile busy making Christmas and Valentines cards, sending out jewellery orders and organising the delivery of lots of new lovely jewellery, which starts arriving next week…… can’t wait.

Today I am wearing our new bracelet called ‘Rimini’ made up of a set of 3 metal bangles all with different hearts and tags. Very ‘jinggly’ and quite different from Lello. In stock later this month.

Oooo the temperature is dropping and in a warehouse like ours you notice it very quickly. Brrrrr.
Turning our attentions to making Valentines cards this week for stock. Working on a few bespoke Christmas card designs for a couple of local businesses. Putting the new brochure ‘to bed’ last few finishing touches this week.

Not pleasant outside today, wet and windy and I have a poorly child off school.

Lots of planning to do today for Valentines and Mother’s Day cards and print. Still making Christmas card orders and have heard from a couple of brand new jewellery customers this week which is always great news.

It has been a week of great things and also challenges, I think I should write a book one day about my Lello life!

It’s busy and full of conversation. You have some days when everyone gets on quietly and others where everything is up for discussion. Do we have enough bows? should we continue with a particular bracelet in a certain colour and a debate insues! Having had a quick early morning tidy up in the office and dispatch area, we are all again sat at our desks getting on with the day. Just putting the final touches to our new jewellery brochure and then it’s all systems go! I am so pleased with the photography this year, it was great to do something a bit more adventurous and opens a whole new way of advertising and photographing our jewellery going forward.

Lastley I thought I’d show you the new Lello necklace I am wearing today, ‘Florin’. Made up of a large antique coin, metal disc and dog tag with the words, ‘Live Life Make Waves’ one of our Lello sayings. All 3 hang from a long dark metal chain. There are a number of designs due out soon which include this coin design. In stock later this month.

Mine is still not over as finally we have the children’s Halloween school disco tomorrow night, then finally the festivities will be over for another year. We have enjoyed a great few days, like many I like dress my house in all things ‘Halloween’ and make quite a fuss of it all for the children.

What are we up to at Lello today? rushing to send off lots of samples to various destinations before our carrier turns up this afternoon. Still busy making Christmas cards, planning jewellery deliveries and working with new clients which is always very exciting.
