Friday comes around all too quickly!
What are we up to at Lello today? Fiona is sat at her Mac designing, card orders are being made and I am amongst other things packing up samples to put on show at PG Live, London’s Greeting Card show taking place on 24th and 25th May at the Business Design Centre.
Today I have taken a picture of Fiona sat at her Mac, wearing our ‘Meteor’ bracelet, £10.20. Made up of 3 strands of flat metal beads held together with one round bead, it is one of our top sellers! Quite chunky and looks great with anything, suits women of all ages. Comes with a matching long necklace, ‘Crater’.

I think it really helps if our customers both trade and public can see how our jewellery looks on. With this in mind I will bring you more images each week of the Lello jewellery we wear. This was taken yesterday when I was wearing our ‘Ho’ bracelet £6.12 which matches our ‘Tally’ necklace. Made from white and blue and white stripe acrylic beads with stripe heart it is great for every day. Lightweight and goes with jeans or anything red white and blue. One of my favourites!

What are we up to at Lello today? I will be focusing again on new agents for Lello. Although we have some great agents around the country we are short in the South so every effort needs to be made to find people would like to sell our Lello cards, jewellery and albums. (contact: info@lellodesign.co.uk) Lello are sponsoring the ‘Retailer of the year ‘(Reta’s)’ hosted by Progressive Greetings magazine in July and Fiona is working on the packaging to hold our ‘give away’ bracelet, aswell as working on new jewellery designs. With orders and brochures to send out we have a lot on.
More news tomorrow and I will start to bring you more regular pictures of the Lello jewellery we wear each day!
Today I am wearing our 3 strung acrylic bead bracelet, ‘Cranberry’ £6.12. A pretty light weight bracelet ideal for summer. Made up of 3 different shades of red beads in different bead shapes. Also available in green ‘Evergreen’.

I hope you like our new look website, refreshed for summer! We are hoping to hear that our credit card facility will be up and running online later this week, so please ‘watch this space’. (Blog page still to be completed).

Friday’s here at Lello are getting things done days. Although busy everyday, we don’t send orders out on a Friday so it is our chance to prepare for the week ahead and get projects finished.
It’s been email ‘mainia’ for me this morning as more and more customers receive their new jewellery brochures and their questions require answers. It is a part of my job I really enjoy, being able to advise our customers on new designs, best sellers etc. with 99% of all our products firmly imprinted on my brain!
What are we working on? Going forward we aim to offer Lello ‘point of sale’ to our trade customers so they can advertise Lello products in their shop window or make more of a feature within their stoes. We hope to work on this in the next few weeks.
There are a few tweaks still to make to the website for trade customers to make it easier for them to order online.
The new card brochure goes to print today, next week we will mail them out to all our customers. Followed soon by our new photo album brochure. All lines can be viewed on our website.
Lastly I have uploaded a picture of one of our new lines, now in stock, ‘Sherbert’, a pretty acrylic beaded mulit coloured bracelet £5.99, comes with a matching long necklace, ‘Tuti-Fruiti’ £9.99, lovely for the summer! Light weight and will go with lots of different outfits.

These bank holidays although fantastic have thrown me for six! to think it is Thursday already and nearly the weekend again.
I am sure quite a few small and large businesses have exprienced the same disruption to deliveries and orders etc. so it will be nice to get back into the swing of things.
Our jewellery deliveries came in yesterday, some best sellers like ‘Zara’ and ‘Alice’ and some new ‘Little Lello’ designs. Our website is currently being updated to account for this stock intake.
Lello has been asked to sponsor the ‘Reta’s’ the card and gift industry’s ‘Retailer of the year’ which takes place in July in London. Both Fiona and I attended a few years ago and it was a lovely event.
Lello will be sponsoring the goody bags with one of our bracelets.
What are we up to today?
I am going to be busy contacting prospective new customers and Fiona is working on new designs as well as changes to our website.

RED, WHITE & BLUE Below is a picture of my neighbours and I after watching the Royal wedding on Friday. Not the best of images I admit but they say, ‘dont work with kids and animals’ , the children couldn’t keep still and one of dogs got in involved too! Difficult to see I was wearing our Lello ‘Kingdom’ brooch. A beautiful brooch in the shape of a crown with diamanti’s, held by a black velvet ribbon, available on our website for £7.99. A firm favourite with our retail customers up and down the country.

On another note: I hope everyone enjoyed the Royal Wedding as much as I did on Friday, I have a few snaps from the day I will share with you tomorrow. It was followed by a lovely weekend and my son’s birthday party, a great few days.
I have my work cut out today after several days off and waiting to hear of our jewellery delivery which is due tomorrow. I will let our customers know which lines are back in stock later this week.
You might also note that our website is changing gradually into more Spring/Summer colours, this should be completed in the next day or two.
