Friday is finally here,  not that I have been wishing my week away, but my son returns from his school trip this afternoon and I can’t wait to see him.

It is a peaceful Friday morning here at Lello, we don’t tend to send many orders out on a Friday as some small independents are closed on a Monday or don’t like receiving orders on a Monday in which case we hold them for a day or so.
I am waiting for the ok on our jewellery deliveries arriving next week. We have a very busy week ahead of next week, there will be a lot to cram in before all the bank holidays start.

I hadn’t banked on my 4 year old bursting into tears at pre-school this morning, a little under the weather I think, plus missing her brother who is away on a school trip. 

She couldn’t find room between her friends to sit in the circle at registration. Bless, rather than do the usual and insist she find a place I sat her on my knee for a cuddle which made us both feel better! it was short lived and she skipped off happily, even so it can pull at you a bit when you have to go off to work.

What are we up to today? all manner of things! I am trying to coordinate 2 jewellery deliveries we have coming in next week along with getting more copies of the new jewellery brochure in which we need to start sending out to our trade customers.
As soon as the jewellery arrives the website will be updated to account for the new stock.
My emails are endless this morning but that is usually the case.
The sunshine is streaming through our office window which is lovely, I can even hear the birds tweeting in the trees opposite which gives the office a great sense of calm amongst the bussel of all we need to get done. We have a lot of Lello photo albums to get out in orders and a trip to make to the printer today.

Lastly we have some re-stock of jewellery in next week!! Those retailers out there who sold our Alice necklace times over, it will be in again next week!!!

Today I am wearing our ‘Keely’ bracelet made from glass faceted beads in a pinky/purple colourway, also availble in grey. Add a bit of sparkle to your day, £8.50.

Monday’s for us at Lello I am sure are the same for anyone who runs a business you have no idea what you are going to come in to. Lots of emails about nothing, with a few important ones inbetween so now that they are out of the way we can get on planning the next few days.
There are orders to go out today and we have a number of trade customers booked in to look at our jewellery. Trade customers are welcome to visit us at Lello by appointment where they can look at the designs at their leisure and take their order away with them.

Mother’s Day seems long gone though very much enjoyed.

I have a very busy week ahead of me planning  jewellery re-stock deliveries which should arrive next week and the completion of our new card and album brochure for the trade.

I have decided to dispense with our Friday’s fashion find from ‘OUTFIT’ moving forward (no it’s not an April fools) and instead I will be bringing you more news about Lello and the new projects we are working on.

That’s not to say we won’t bring images of outfits we see that we think would be of interest to our readers.

Today Fiona is road testing a new necklace we will be launching for Aut/Wint 2011/12. Made from facted glass beads it will match a few of our current bracelets. The inspiration behind this necklace came from the dvd about Anna Wintour the Vogue editor named ‘The September Issue’ in the film Anna wears a gorgeous amber crystal necklace which  transforms all her outfits.

Fiona has been wearing this necklace for a few weeks now and everywhere she goes she has received wonderful compliments. At this stage the sample necklace has been made in grey though we do have options for other colours. This will be decided over the coming weeks and months.
