My wise words or quotes today are based on ‘taking time out’. We all lead very busy lives and I was told a long time ago that if you don’t try to enjoy your life inbetween all the ups and downs it will pass you by. Don’t keep putting it off.
Life is short, God’s way of encouraging a bit of focus. ~Robert Brault,
Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. ~Charles Richards

Hi, I thought for a change today I would send you this link to the online store at OUTFIT http://www.outfitfashion.com/brands.html . I have been a tad under the weather this week so I apologise that I have not been able to to upload a picture of an item of clothing from our local ‘OUTFIT’ store, as I like to do on a Friday.
There is a great deal of lovely new stock in for Spring and aswell as in store you can browse and buy online.
Lello’s next fashion show planned for Mon 11th April at ‘OUTFIT’ Thurmaston Leicester is looking for women to model! so if you’d like to get dressed up and have your hair and make up done and don’t mind a few lengths of the catwalk, please let me know, karen@lellodesign.co.uk models need to be 15 years and above, any shape or size! (I guess you need to live locally)!
A little thought for today: Neuroscientists have found that qualities like compassion and kindness actually change the brain, laying down new pathways that point thinking in a positive direction and stop us from flooding our systems with energy sapping stress chemicals, so be nice to someone today!
My wise words/quotes today are all about believing in yourself. Being the postive thinker I am (though no stanger to the odd wobble) I feel everyone must have belief in themselves to achieve anything in life, without belief in yourself and your actions or dreams life will only get more difficult:-
Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.
Norman Vincent Peale, author
Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.
Eleanor Roosevelt
The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.
Frank Lloyd Wright
What matters is not the idea a man holds, but the depth at which he holds it.
Ezra Pound
It’s such a lovely bright and sunny morning, just what you need on a Monday morning.
We are busily packing orders this morning and plan to start working on our new card brochure for our trade customers which is usually ready in Feb. Despite this though the new cards are proving very popular.

It looks to be a busy week ahead of us.
Children’s Jewellery delivery anticipated at the end of this week/beg of next week!
Sorry about Friday, I had problems uploading my ‘fashion find’ from ‘OUTFIT’, Thurmaston Leicester, so here it is today. This lovely Top Shop dress £36.00 which I understand has sold very well since it’s arrival a few weeks ago. Cream dress with sip up the back and bright yellow and orange flowers.
Fiona is also wearing our new range of Lello jewellery, ‘Emporium’, long necklace and bracelet, in stock in about 10 days. The new lines have a slight antique feel to them. Back tomorrow with ‘what are we wearing at Lello today’ the Lello jewellery we wear ourselves.
I am starting to wonder if February is everyone’s least favourite month. You would imagine that January would be after the excitement of Christmas but January offers people a new start or a new beginning so for some if can behold a new future. From speaking to customers of ours and fellow publishers these past few weeks suggests that February seems to be the month of uncertainess, unease and unrest, if the news was anything to go by!
I don’t like negativity and I try to keep everything I write in my blog positive as we see and hear enough bad news everwhere. I am great believer in positive thinking.
But at least in Feb we can look forward to what March will bring, Spring is just round the corner. Maybe February needs to be the month it is, we could look at it as a restful month, preparing ourselves for the year ahead or on a more positive note the month we plan our year ahead!! this is the view I took during February and like most I am pleased now we are into the early joys of Spring, the lighter mornings and evenings which lift all our spirits.
So next year as we enter February look upon it as a month to plan your year ahead, if the dark nights and dreary days get you down.
With this in mind I found this passage in my new 2011 diary which is full of some of the most inspiring writing I have seen. This paragraph is at the start of March, a month for going after what you want……….
Life has risks, but the biggest risk of all would be missing out on its rewards because you feared the unknown. ‘There is no security in life, only opportunity’ Mark Twain proposed. So break away from the pack, think big, experiment, explore. There’s no need to scale Mount Everest to know the thrill of acheivement; taking even one small step beyond your comfort zone can give you the courage to persue any goal.
My wise words today are based on ‘doing something nice for someome today’, I woke up this morning and thought we should have a National, ‘Do something nice for someone today’ which would help make everyone feel a little bit happier!
Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does. ~William James
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. ~Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not. ~Dr. Seuss
Being good is commendable, but only when it is combined with doing good is it useful. ~Author Unknown
