It has dawned on me it is Mother’s Day at the weekend, you’d think I’d be prepared for that considering our Mother’s Day cards we design! but we are always working well ahead of time here at Lello, now moving into Chistmas mode, so Mother’s Day for us was at the begining of the year when our retailers starting placing their orders.

I’d better start making plans for my own mum.

Today we are quite busy with card and album orders, the new cards have started to capture our retailers attention and today might be one of those days where a couple of us have to join in and help to get everything out the door.
The new photo album designs which can be viewed on our website, www.lellojewellery.co.uk (click on cards and albums) match and coordinate with our card ranges and I must say look lovely, very fresh and pretty and orders for albums have really gained momentum.

Our new jewellery brochure came in yesterday so we will start posting them out to our retail customers around the country over the next few days.

At Lello we have the first delivery of our new jewellery brochure which I am looking forward to sending out to all our customers.
It is also about of Spring Clean day today, now the weather is atad warmer we can start re-organising our factory. It is a busy week ahead.

Today I spotted this lovely stripe dress in red white and black, great for a day like today or even better when the summer comes. I think it would be great for everyday and has that nautical twist. Loose and a bit slouchy, £35 by Topshop at OUTFIT, Thurmaston Leicester.

We are having a good tidy up here this morning in between all our usual duties and getting orders out. There is a bit of a stock move around going on. Our new cards are proving so popular we need to create more space for it all. The jewellery brochure after many changes will finally be done in the next couple of days. We have customers screaming out for it and our sales agents too!

Today Fiona is wearing our lovely light weight large looped metal necklace and bracelet in an antique finish. Necklace ‘Pewter’ £14.99 and matching bracelet ‘Zinc’ £7.99. Both do up with white leather straps. Quite contemporary and go with anything!

What a difference a lovely sunny day makes and also a lovely weekend. It felt great to be out in the back garden at the weekend and stood by a rugby pitch watching my son play (not freezing my socks off).

What are we up to at Lello today? There is always a lot of paperwork and emails to get on top of on a Monday. We assess & organise our orders for cards and jewellery for the week and loosely plan the week ahead.
I am hoping to see the jewellery brochure proof today and we are discussing the design of a small range of Halloween cards and Christmas designs for 2011 which need to be started in the next few weeks.

It’s Friday again already, where do the weeks go? Here is our ‘OUTFIT’ fashion find this week from our local Thurmaston store in Leicester.
I will make a point of photographing people in the clothes we show on a Friday if at all possible as the pictures on their own don’t do the clothes justice.

Today I have chosen this very cute little cropped top in a orange/peach colourway. Made from a fine cotton brushed fabric with round neck and little puckered long sleeves with buttons. The top is by Miss Selfridge and £30. To compliment the top I chose this pretty orange spotty scarf by Top Shop, £16.00.
I also noticed quite a lot of sale lines in store so grab yourself a bargain while you still can.

Today my colleague Barbara and I have the task of re-arranging all our jewellery in the warehouse. With the new jewellery brochure due in a few days it is a good time to re-organise all our stock to make picking our orders quicker. It’s a cold place so it won’t be much fun! Brochures and sale leaflets will be mailed out to all our trade customers within the next 7 days.
