Kids back at school today which they seemed happy about. Lots of paperwork to get through today followed by a few appointments and meetings this week and hopefully our new jewellery brochure!

Today’s find from ‘OUTFIT’ (Thurmaston Leicester) is this cute sleeveless blue and white stripe top. £22.50 from Topshop.
It looks great with jeans and a jacket and would be lovely when the better weather comes.
Fiona is also wearing one of our new Spring/Summer jewellery sets, made from glass and acrylic beads in red and blue colours.

Our children are near by this morning on their bikes and scooters at the local park (obviously with a grown up in tow). Our day today as working mums is a little complicated with children going off with grandparents and me leaving early today to fit in doctors appointments and hair cuts!
No one said it would be easy and even after 9 years the holidays prove ‘challenging’ as I am sure it does for many working mums.
Although tomorrow is usually our fashion find of the week from OUTFIT at Thurmaston Leicester I thought I’d do one today and one tomorrow so I can also show you some of our new spring summer jewellery which is just a few weeks away.
Below Fiona is wearing a pretty peach (Ghost effect) blouse from Top Shop, £36.00. This colour is very on trend and there is a lot of it in the shops.
To match she is wearing one of our new necklace and bracelet sets made from glass and acrylic beads with pretty shell buttons strung on cord.

Today I have got Tracey to model our lovely children’s bracelet ‘Paradise’ which is due in stock, in about 7 days time. Very cute made from pink wooden beads and acrylic two tone flower. Matching necklace, hair clips and hair band also available in this range £3.99.
(It will also fit women with little wrists)!
It feels like a very quiet Monday morning, not sure whether that’s because it is half term and the schools or off and thus lots of people have the week off? nevertheless we are busy with orders and doing quite a lot of behind the scenes work on our website.

Back again with a new fashion find from our local ‘OUTFIT’ store at Thurmaston Leicester. Today I have chosen these lovely mock brown leather shorts with tie at the waist. I chose them because they are not ‘too’ short as a lot of the shorts around are very short! From Topshop, £34.00.
A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY: Lello’s next Fashion catwalk show at ‘OUTFIT’ Thurmaston Leicester will be on Monday 11th April. Tickets will be £5 and will go on sale in March from ‘OUTFIT’ and from Lello.
Despite the snow we had a turnout of 100 women to our show in November and OUTFIT hope to double the attendance at the next show. It is your chance to see ‘real women’ wearing Topshop, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis & Miss Selfridge clothes and the chance to shop in the store privately while it is closed to the rest of the public.
What are we up to at Lello today? the girls are working on a large export order for our cards and Fiona and I are going to start planning our new jewellery lines for the next 6 months. We will spend a few hours ‘playing with and rifling through our thousands of beads’ and current designs to decide what direction we will take the jewellery in throughout 2011.
Apart from that, lots of paperwork and letter writing/emails today and we will start organising the next 2 fashion shows we plan to hold in the Leicester area throughout March and April.
