That’s how I feel today, lots of work in progress. You will see from our ‘Cards & Albums’ part of the site that we have now uploaded 3 of the new card ranges, still another 5 to come and the site is being updated/tweeked daily.
We have been really surprised with how all the new cards have started to sell. For many years we concerntrated on very upmarket, subtle/luxurious designs when all our backgorund is in pattern and colour. Now with this complete overhall and re-invention of our card ranges we have stuck to our guns and produced a series of very colourful and patterned designs which we love and are being very well received.
Still embellished in the usual Lello way with gems, bows and satin/glitter add-ons but more to our own taste.
It’s nice to have broken the mould and be doing something new and exciting.
All our cards are made here in Leicester, on site.

For some time now on a Friday we have been taking various pictures of the lovely new clothes they get in each week at our nearest ‘Outfit’ store. Outfit have proved very supportive of Lello over this feature and also with our fashion show’s we hold twice yearly.

The next  fashion show is lined up for March at Outfit in Thurmaston Leicester. Our models wear all of Outfits’  lovely clothes, Top Shop, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Lello jewellery.
We had a great turnout to the one held in November, 100 women joined us and we held a  fabulous ‘Lello jewellery sale’ on the night, where our visitors picked up some real bargains and some great goodie bags.

Back to normal next week bringing you some of their new Spring collections!  meanwhile the store is in SALE mode, so I thought it best to leave it this week.

A 2011 – Not to do list
Include people, activitites, habits, clutter, unproductive thinking that you need to eliminate from your mind and your life so you can focus on moving forward. Draw up a positive encouragement statement to read when you are tempted to indulge in negative self-talk. Make sure it includes your accomplishments, the strengths and talents you can draw on and the people on your loyal support team. I started this, this morning by attending a ‘body balance’ class before work, I am going to ache tomorrow!

I know this should have been on Tuesday but I forgot to bring my camera in with me.

Today I seem to have stepped in to Spring! I do get tired of all that grey and black. A winter  ’nautical theme’ today. I am wearing our red 3 strand acrylic bracelet ‘Cranberry’ £5.99. This bracelet is also available in green, (Evergreen). Great to add a bit colour to your outfit amidst all the gloomy weather we have at the moment and most affordable at only £5.99. Also ideal for Valentines Day!!!

Lastly please note, we have started to upload our new handmade cards for Spring Summer 2011!!!!!. Starting with Valentines. Lots more ranges to come over the next 7 days, it’s so exciting, wait till you see Mother’s Day! Karen

Tuesday’s are normally, ‘what are we wearing at Lello today’, but I have just returned from a birthday weekend away and forgotten my camera this morning, in my rush to get the kids off to school!! so I will have to take a snap of our jewellery another day this week.

(Wise words for Wednesday tomorrow).

Meanwhile this was me at the weekend celebrating my 40th birthday. I had a really wonderful time.

It has been a fairly quiet morning today, plenty of calls but you still get that ‘after Christmas feeling’, but we all seem very busy.
Fiona and I are starting to work on our new Spring Summer jewellery brochure which will be out early Feb. The theme this season will be to major on our children’s jewellery and I already have my 4 year old Heidi booked in to have her picture taken next week for the front cover! that should be fun.
Our sale to our ‘Trade’ customers will continue until the end of January after which the new brochure will launch. We then need to turn our attention to our new card brochure which will mean hours of scanning cards for me next week!

It feels most odd to be back at work after what seems a very long break, and sadly one full of illness. To those of you who like me spent almost the entire holiday struck down by flu… my sympathies go out to you.
