It’s the last day of term for our children tomorrow and that’s when it gets really interesting here in the office each day. Although we have someone to look after them it will be a challenging 6 weeks of not to shout when they are in the office, not to try all the jewellery on and parade around in it and not to ‘fight’ in reception! We have everyday day planned and scheduled on an ‘enlarged’ calender on the wall so everyone knows what’s happening.
I am sure it won’t be any different to last summer, lets just hope there is more sun so they can go to the park and get out more.

We are busy here with orders today and Fiona is designing our new ‘newsletter’ we are going to start sending out to all our retail customers to keep them informed.

First I’ve got to say that the lady in our July Make-Over is my mum and I think she looks terrific! I hope you agree.

Wendy, my mum really enjoyed her day of pampering and trying on clothes. Both Fiona and I thought she looked great, looks much younger than her, dare I say ’70+’ years (I’ll get into trouble for divulging that).

Her hair looked lovely and it was amazing what a little bit of make up did and different look with her clothes. We keep telling her that as she gets older she must wear brighter colours, so maybe this will encourage her!

It’s a bit of miserable Monday morning, warm yet drizzly, yuk!.

I have just about got through my barrage of emails this morning and we have started to pack today’s orders.

We have had some lovely comments about the new line of dresses we have started to sell on line (emporium gifts) and with this in mind I thought I would remind everyone of our lovely wrist corsages, £15.00 and available in black, red, ivory, dark cream, lilac and pink. Ideal for proms, weddings or special occasions.

The corsage is made from a silk flower on matching satin ribbon which is tied several times round your wrist in a bow. It comes beautifully packed in it’s own little gift box with Lello tag.

A quick what are we wearing at Lello today?

Fiona is wearing (new in this week) ‘Pure’ necklace £13.99 and matching bracelet ‘Organic’ £8.99. Both made from antique (silver coloured) metal beads with flat beads in between and rounded square flat disc embellishment. Pretty and understated and little more delicate than some of our other new chunky silver jewellery.

I am wearing a necklace I haven’t worn before. I think it’s safe to say that with the amount of lines we carry I haven’t honestly worn every single piece of jewellery we have made. But I don’t know why I haven’t worn this as I think it looks lovely.

I am feeling a bit pink in the face today from wind burn as a result of sitting at a windy park while my daughter was attending a local birthday party yesterday. I should know better!

I paraded myself in front of my children this morning and said ‘this is a lesson in sun burn’! to which my 8 year old said, ‘well you cover us in sun cream why didn’t you put any on?’ point taken!!

What are we up to at Lello today? Well I have loads of emails to respond to which I am working my way through and we are steadily going through our back log of jewellery orders, all of which will go out this week.
We are constantly working on the new website and have a number of projects on for our ‘design clients’ as Lello also operates as a Graphic Design consultancy.

Friday should be our Fashion Find and I was going to show you our own dresses we are going to start selling on our website, but I am sorry, we haven’t finished photographing them yet, so this will have to roll onto Monday.

I can show however 2 of our new lovely new lines which came into stock yesterday. I think I will be wearing this quite often and yes I am aware it doesn’t really go with my stripy top today!
