I can’t quite bring myself to start showing you some of the lovely Autumn clothes they have in at Outfit at the moment, because we are still in summer, so I might have to leave those for another few weeks.

Fiona is wearing this lovely 1940′s style dress by Warehouse, £39.00. It’s a really lovely shape and goes up to a size 16! it would suit a lot of women. It could also be worn Aut/Wint with some black opaque tights and a nice big cardi.

It is a lovely morning here in Leicester not that I can see out of our ‘frosted windows’  but nevertheless I shall hopefully get to see daylight at lunchtime!

It’s a peaceful but busy morning, Fiona is working on our website as we aim to load all our handmade cards to the site in the next week. After this we will start adding all our handmade photo albums but this may take us a few weeks to achieve so please bear with us. Cards and albums for all occasions.

Access for trade customers will then follow once these lines are set up for the public.

For those of you who only know Lello for their jewellery, wait till you see our beautiful range of handmade cards and albums which will all be available on-line!

Fiona is also working on a brand new project we plan to offer to the public and our trade customers in the coming weeks. Supported by Trendstop! the trends predication company.

Lello will be bringing you weekly fashion/trend forecasts to keep you up to date with what’s in fashion in terms of fabrics, styles, colours, jewellery etc. So if you are fashion conscious and want a quick and easy update on the latest predictions keep logging onto Lello each week. This new addition will be directed through the home page and we hope to launch it next week.

My day will be spent sending out hundreds and hundreds of newsletters!

Lastly here is a sneak preview of what’s to come from Lello for Aut/Winter ’10/11.

When you feel bad about yourself, you block the love and instead you attract more people and situations that will continue to make you feel bad about you.

What are we up to at Lello today?
We had set our eldest boys a task of putting all our ‘NEW’ customer news letters into envelopes but I guess it was too much to expect. They started off well but only lasted an hour. They have told me they will do a bit each day as long as they get some pocket money!

I didn’t manage a post on my blog yesterday as my sister Fiona and I took a rare day off work and took the children to Brancaster beach in Norfolk. It’s just over 2hrs from us in Leicester but well worth the drive. We left pouring rain for lovely blue skies and sunshine until we embarked on our journey home at 6pm last night.

What a great day we had! Hoping to go a few more times over the school hols!

So unsurprisingly I have come in to about 60 emails this morning! hey ho!

Don’t get caught in the rain!

Very tempted to get one of these myself however I already have a small collection of waterproof poncho’s I have amounted  over the years, this might sound a bit odd but it’s true, you’ve got to be prepared!

This knee length Miss Selfridge rain mac/poncho is £15.00.

It comes complete with a hood and little bag to pack away into. One size fits all. It is available in 2 colourways, the black and grey leopard print I have on here and also in black with pink and green flowers and leaves.

I appreciate it is not the most flattering of garments, but nevertheless very useful!

Oh dear, our children are at the park and I am sat at my desk listening to the down pour outside. Hope they have managed to race to a cafe to take shelter, poor things!

What are we up to today?
Fiona is finalising the last few pieces of our Autumn / Winter jewellery designs, a few changes were in order.

I am busy placing re-orders for our jewellery. We design everything ourselves and have a number of jewellery factories who make it all for us.
Our sale page items are selling well, so if you see something you like buy while stocks last. We only have 1 or 2 of a couple of lines left.

What a funny old morning it’s turning out to be today, not to worry. I have so many orders to pack and the phone keeps ringing! but all good.

We are very fortunate that we deal with some very friendly and supportive retailers across the country. I can’t deny over the years I have had customers literally scream at me because we have made a mistake with their order.  We do check our orders carefully ,but human error is a fact and a few times a year it is bound to happen.

But I have just got off the phone to one of our customers: Occasions Gifts in Derbyshire, who are always very pleasant and seems to understand fully that our cards and albums are made to order in-house.

It is an unfortunate modern trend that customers  feel they need to scream and shout and make a huge fuss to get something fixed or changed. Sometimes, being nice is all it takes!

Packing a large jewellery order which is going out to New Zealand, finalising our first ‘bi monthly’ newsletter which will go out to all our trade customers at the end of the week.

Hi, today’s Fashion Find is this gorgeous grey shift dress by Warehouse, £55.00. Available up to a size 14.

This dress is pulled on over your head and has a neat little cover button at the back of the neck. Lined and with semi sheer and lace long sleeves, really lovely! It comes just above the knee.

Great for a wedding or would even look nice with opaque tights for Autumn. Very on-trend for Autumn.
