I must say I am feeling very philosophical this morning (I had to spell check that). Today for me is all about effort! And quite bizarrely as I was thinking about this (when blow drying my hair this morning) my husband mentioned the very same word.

It took a lot of effort for me to put on my running shoes at 6.30am this morning and force myself out the door for a run, but that effort has ‘made my morning’ as I feel great and feel a real sense of achievement as I couldn’t be bothered the last 2 mornings.

So my plan is to put more effort into everything I do today to see what a difference it will make.

Tired Mondays I think is more apt!

We have a lot on this week with jewellery deliveries and obviously still all the work to do on our new website. We are currently loading some lovely gifts which should go live later today and tomorrow.

It’s Friday again and with the support of our local ‘OUTFIT’ store we aim to bring you images each week of the lovely clothes they have for sale in Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins and Wallis. Outfit have supported Lello for the past few years loaning us their clothes and shoes for all our photo shoots each season and also supporting us with the fashion shows we have done the past few years and hope to do again later this year.

I try to vary it every week to show you something different as I am sure we all have very differing tastes.

This week I have chosen what I like! The colours don’t really suit me as I am blonde and they wash me out a bit but if you have dark hair or dark skin they’d be a great choice.

All from Warehouse, they have a lot of these mix and match cotton/ stretch tops in muted shades, quite long, it would cover your bum, very plain and understated. I choose the putty coloured top and matched it with a little peach coloured swing cardi which has a little pocket at the front on either side and the back is slightly gathered at the waist.

My love for scarves is endless and I found this beautiful long full putty coloured scarf with a mix of lurex and lace, I can see I am going to have to go back and get one!

Oh dear it would appear some naughty person has stolen our huge recycling bin from outside our building! if it’s you, please bring it back to us!!! I am not looking forward to the call I am going to have to make to the recycling company.

I am wearing our ‘new in stock’ Anchor necklace, (I love it) £12.99 in a silver effect finish, open chain and large anchor detail. Comes with matching ‘Marine’ charm bracelet which I am also wearing, with little lighthouse, ships wheel, coin and star fish attachments £7.99. I though it matched my blue stripe nautical top perfectly today.

Nautical Necklace and Bracelet

I am ‘so’ not dressed for today’s weather in white linen trousers, what was I thinking!  But at least I have my rain coat.

Great to see how many people we had online yesterday browsing through our new website, so far so good no glitches.

Log on every week as our blog is updated daily and we have lots of new things coming to the site as well as our new stock.

We have a Prom feature next week! For all those of you who have a prom to go to or a daughter attending one, we have some beautiful wrist corsages in our ‘Accessories’ online and we will giving one 14 year old a mini make over in preparation for her up and coming prom.

Meanwhile today, we are working on some new designs which will be loaded under a new ‘novelty’ tag on the website, showing bracelets specific to rugby and football teams for all you female followers out there!  I attended the recent Tigers game at Twickenham wearing my red & green bracelet and received so many comments I think I should have set up a stall selling them!

I am wearing my ‘sweetheart’ earrings £5.00, these go with anything, together with our navy blue glass classic bracelet £8.50, great with jeans and anything nautical. I am also wearing our ceramic blue and white bracelet with butterfly attachment £8.00, this also comes with a matching necklace which is £16.00. Great for those of you who like something a little different.

The Yeyyyyy, I because our new website has launched today and we are all very excited about it. Much of the out of stock lines are due in throughout the month of June, so please bear with us. Also over the next few weeks we will be adding some lovely accessories and also our handmade cards and photo albums.

I am wearing one of my ‘most worn’ bracelets, ‘Rosa’, a 9 strung gun metal great bracelet with large oblong bead, £8.00. Also has matching Florence necklace, £17.00. It goes with so many things!

I don’t feel I have accomplished very much this morning with trips to the bank and to collect my little girl from school so I feel I have a lot to catch up on.

Our brand new website is due to launch in the next 24 hours please keep an eye out. A great deal of the lines which read out of stock will come in to stock over the next couple of weeks so do bear with us! We hope to start adding a few gifts and also many of our handmade card and album designs over the coming weeks and months. It has been a long time in the making, so we hope you like it!!

Today’s fashion find is from Miss Selfridge, a vibrant pink dress with deep V front and back and ’50′s style bow and slight pleating around the bust area. Very cute. The material is similar to a gross grain ribbon in that it is lightly ridged and a bit stiff, to hold it’s shape.

I loved it when I saw it. It even has little side pockets in the skirt. £45.00 and went up to a size 14.

I am talking about the weather! Although a chilly start I have decided to plan my week ahead as it’s half term here and at least take Friday afternoon off, fingers crossed I get an hour in the sun.

I am counting down the days now till our jewellery arrives here in the UK and we can launch our new website which has all the new designs on it. It will be like a breath of fresh air!

Something New! we are planning on a ‘make over of the month’ and this month it’s going to be me!

I am not all that enthused that my sister and business partner thinks I need a make over but hey I am not going to say no. I have a party to go to this month so the plan is to find me an outfit, shoes etc. (which are much needed) somewhat out of my comfort zone plus hair and make up.
