I have just returned from my 8yr old son’s sports day, glad to say he did very well winning his races, I tried not to shout him on too loudly! but sitting in the sun ‘unprepared’ watching races trying to console a weary 3yr old is ‘interesting’ to say the least.

But nevertheless it was good fun and I am back at Lello now preparing for our delivery of new jewellery tomorrow, these new lines should show as being in stock on the website sometime on Friday, once it is all checked in.

Although our building is a clump of bricks and concrete and very cold most of the year, on days like this I am grateful it is so cool!

It is such a lovely morning, don’t you wish that everyday was as sunny as today is!

It’s a peaceful Monday morning here at Lello with everyone busy getting on with their jobs.

We have Fearn in on work experience from Longfield School in Melton Mowbray. Fearn will be with us all week, making cards and jewellery, absolutely no making tea and photocopying here!!

Fiona is up at our local OUTFIT store working on our Lello Style feature for July, so keep an eye out for that one, it should load in the next week or so.

The great thing about ‘Outfit’ not just the store up the road from us in Thurmaston (Leicester) but in general is the selection of clothes they have across their various brands. New lines come in every week which is great for us as we can show you some of the lovely items they have on sale.

There are a few sale rails at the moment but they won’t be there for long, lots of summer dresses for £20!
So go now if you want any last minute bargains for your holiday.

‘All you need is a dress’ is today’s motto.

I am really coming round to this notion now and the fact that a dress makes a complete outfit. No worrying about tops and trousers and skirts and matching this with that, find yourself a nice dress and just worry about the shoes!
So with that in mind we have gone for 2 dresses this week.

Dress no.1 is this pretty ‘almost 70′s’ smock dress by Warehouse £40.00. In fact Fiona liked it so much she bought it and has it on today! Very cute with wide elastic band just under the bust, little caped sleeves and ruffle at the hem, lovely on a warm day with flip flops!.

Our next find which was my favourite is this wild bright jungle print dress also by Warehouse £40.00. With a slight gathering around a high neckline and zip down the side. Great for everyday or a special occasion.

No I am not a fan of football and no we didn’t close up early here at Lello yesterday to watch it, BUT we did have the radio on and like most people were ‘kind of interested’ in how England did. Thank heavens we won, onto Sunday now.

Amongst all the new gifts we are loading onto the new site, our handmade cards & albums and some lovely little black dresses which arrive in about a weeks time, we will be adding a few ‘sporting novelty jewellery lines’ so it seemed a good opportunity to show you our England inspired bracelet, today.

Based on our popular miracle beads in red and white for all of you female supporters out there.

What a beautiful day, not the sort of day you want to be stuck behind your desk answering emails all day! Nevertheless I am sure I’ll have a sit out in it during my lunch break later.

Today will be spent packing up orders, finding out when this week our large jewellery delivery arrives and catching up on many emails and paperwork.

We have gone with a holiday mood today and snapped some very pretty items all from Miss Selfridge which would be great for a holiday or ‘staycation’, in the sun. Everyday wear which requires little effort.

Fiona is wearing, cropped denim shorts with patch and lace detail, very cute if you have the legs, £28.00.

Pretty floral cardigan, £35.00, I have tried this on myself and it still looks nice if you are a size 14! and sleeveless jersey strip top with ‘detail round the neck’ £27.00. The top looked particularly nice.
