I found this lovely summer dress in Warehouse. Very floaty with a little tie round the waist which does up front or back, comes just above the knee and fits neatly from the waist up with 3/4 sleeves. Predominately blue with pretty flowers, very on trend and would suit women of most body shapes. £50.00, I thought this was quite expensive but there is quite a lot of detail to the skirt with extra folds of material plus it;s lined. Great with a pair of flip flops!  I’d like one!

We are piled up on our desks with boxes of little orders of jewellery, I think there are many shops topping up on their stock in time for the bank holiday and we are doing our best to get them all out in time. Although we use a carrier, it’s the post office when the packages are small for internet orders and small retailers orders so I guess that means a trip in the car for me later.

I was on the phone at 5.30am this morning to the Far East trying to organise the imminent flight details of the majority of our outstanding jewellery stock, so fingers crossed that all arrives towards the end of next week.

It’s already been a long morning and the looming bank holiday I am afraid kind of makes things a little tricky when bringing in and sending out stock. But nevertheless Monday will be most welcome.

What a crazy morning it has been so far. All positive but but hectic! Communicating with the Far East on a couple of projects on the phone and by email, its been relentless. Lots of orders to get out today! Karen

There is one less wood pigeon in the countryside this morning after I ran one over on a country lane near our house this morning. It was the bird or a tree so the bird lost! My 3year old was very alarmed bless her.

It’s what are we wearing at Lello today and very oddly for me I have worn ‘orange’ three days running. Not the same clothes I must stress, not sure what’s come over me. I am wearing our orange miracle bead bracelet £6.00.

Not surprisingly I have one in all the colours we do and I do wear them all!

These bracelets are great for everyday and as the weather has been so warm lately I’ve just worn one of these bracelets each day, not an armfull which can be annoying in the heat. It’s added a much needed boost of colour.

What a fabulous Day! I think I will be sitting outside our factory at lunch time soaking up some rays today. I seem to be attracting a fair bit of attention from retailers in Australia at the moment who want to buy our jewellery.

Although we distribute to New Zealand we do not have a representative in Oz but this doesn’t seem to be stopping the retailer from ordering direct.

We had an order in yesterday for one of our high street customers, we make bespoke lines for a handful of the UK’s large high street retailers. When their orders come in we check every box and count the contents before re-packing and delivering to the customer.

On one line of bags of very large individual plastic pearl beads we noticed that several bags arrived split with beads spilling out into the box (the girls are at the moment taping up those damaged bags).

I picked up one bag late this afternoon as we were counting them and to my horror it split in my hands and 10′s of bouncing pearls beads bounced and danced across our marble floors, I just stood and smiled as it’s not the first time and surely won’t be our last that this sort of thing will happen.

Not fun, but I think we have found them all!!!

Today I am wearing our very popular nautical bracelet made from blue and white stripe glass beads and little red ships wheel. £6.00

I’ve been absent from keeping up to date with the Lello blog which is not like me. But it has been down to far too much of my time being taken up with quite a large project we have on here. But I am back now and I will be on with our ‘what are we wearing at Lello today’ tomorrow.

It’s been a bit of a strange old day here today. Very quiet in the peaceful sense but still lots happening. Our first delivery of new jewellery arrived late on Friday afternoon so we have been unpacking that and getting some orders out it’s so nice to finally see some of it, we expect some more towards the end of the week possibly early next week.

I was due to attend a women in business lunch today but simply didn’t feel well enough to go, sure I will feel more like myself tomorrow.
