Hello, I have here a very cute little skirt from Miss Selfridge, price £28 which I thought was quite expensive. But nevertheless it would look great on people who had the legs to show it off and very on trend for the summer.

With this I have also photographed a gorgeous little ruffle jacket and have to admit I own one myself. I have shown it here because when I wear mine I get a lot of nice comments about it. The jacket is in a taupe almost khaki colour with ruffle down the front and does up with a few press studs. Priced at £40 and also from Miss Selfridge.

I don’t feel like I have come up for air this morning. The knock on effect of the Volcano situation not only held up everyone’s goods including our jewellery, but it also means that there is a back log of goods at customs waiting to be cleared which is my new has been my challenge this morning. But fingers crossed I think it should be on the move to us before the end of the week. Phew! Our customers are desperate for the stock and it is one delay after another at the moment.

Apart from this we are busy busy and the fact that I have just eaten my lunch at my desk is a sure sign I am not going anywhere today!
I am out in meetings all day tomorrow so it is unlikely I will be updating the blog tomorrow. But ‘double’ fashion find of the week for Friday. Karen

I have snapped Fiona this morning who is wearing our matching set of pale blue miracle beads. Necklace and bracelet, priced at £13.00 for the necklace and £6.00 for the bracelet.

The beads on the necklace graduate on size while the beads on the bracelet are all the same size and have a silver coloured heart attachment.

Our miracle bead jewellery is available in an array of colours.

Awaiting a delivery of new stock this morning. It’s never certain when the lorry will turn up so it will be all hands to the deck when it does.

Sorry about Friday my Fashion Find of the week did not load on the new blog for some reason so I will try that again this week!

We have a young girl in this week on work experience. Bronti is sat at one of our work tables with piles of beads beside her, I’ll check on her in a short while to see what she has come come up with.

We take in students on a regular basis here at Lello. There is no making of tea and no photo copying, we let them have a go at designing on the Macs or making jewellery so they have something substantial to take away with them at the end of the week. If she is in agreement I will take a picture of her and her creations and load it on the blog later in the week. Karen

It’s so lovely to be able to drive to work in the sunshine! but I had to remind my 8 year old that although the sun is shining, it doesn’t mean he can go to school without his coat!!

I’ve taken a picture of Fiona this morning as she looks lovely all dressed in red sporting our red glass bead bracelet with large silver effect heart.

You may have noticed that our blog has a new look. It was an essential upgrade and I am doing my best to get to grips with it as it is very complicated. So if my copy is a bit off and my pictures are off centre, be assured in a few days I will know what I am doing!

The look of the blog will also update over the next week as we tweak things here and there.

No news yet if our new jewellery will be on it’s way to us. I would imagine there is a huge backlog we are caught up in with DHL just like everyone else. But when it does arrive I will be sure to tell you on the blog.

We have new jewellery orders to place today, a few new Autumn / Winter 2010 designs to discuss and lots of orders to work on and dispatch. Plus the sun is shining!! yippeee.

Below I have shown a picture of our croc charms we sell on the website. £3.40 for a pack of 4 designs. We have very few of these left! so if you want some for the summer or think they would make a nice little present for someone, buy them now! (star, heart, butterfly and flower)

Welcome to Tuesday’s ‘ What are we wearing at Lello today’?

I am wearing our grey glass pearl multi strand bracelet Milly £12.00 with matching grey glass pearl brooch, Milan £7.00.

Fiona is all nautical today wearing our ‘Ho’ bracelet made from blue and white stripe plastic beads with stripe heart, £7.00, it looks lovely with her navy jacket and blue stripe tee.

Not for most, I don’t think.

I am catching up on what seems like millions of emails which have come through over the weekend.

Our new jewellery is still sat going no-where as there are no flights for DHL, so my plans to have it in this week have gone out the window. I am sure a few more days won’t matter.

So my apologies to our customers who are waiting for it to come into stock.

We don’t get out much here at Lello! so I have just had a very quick trim by a hairdresser friend of ours who vists us every few weeks here at work. It makes life much easier to have it done on site and it has now set me up for the week!

Welcome to today’s Fashion Find for Friday.

I wouldn’t necessarily say it is a ‘Fashion Find’,  but slightly more a ‘comfortable, colourful find’.

I am trying to add a bit of variation each week and I do like my cardis!

I found this lovely fresh Spring blue stripe cardi in Miss Selfridge for £35. Cut on the bias and simply hangs with a two tone blue stripe. It looked lovely on and was nice and light to wear.

I then saw this pretty scarf with pink and red hearts, also Miss Selfridge £12.50 which I thought would be nice for spring and would also make a lovely present for someone.

Add a bit of colour to your life!!
