Friday is here once again and I have my 3 year old daughter Heidi in the office waiting for her granny to pick her up. We have had her playing with samples, drawing, throwing beads and running after them, performing a dance routine, step step, turn, shimmy….. and it’s still only 9.40am! Granny is running late.

She has now started to help Melanie and is making her own bracelet, oh dear, she is chatting away ten to the dozen! Meanwhile I watch her and answer emails.

Our staff is depleted somewhat today with a couple of people off sick, poor things! So I am sat by the phone today and won’t be going anywhere, apart from the school run.

I thought I’d show you the bracelets I am wearing today. Not quite the norm, green and blue. But my cardigan has green blue and orange stripes so I thought I’d coordinate our Lello jewellery to match.

The blue bracelet is from our Sale page and it’s only £2! it also comes in pale pink and yellow, all are made with 3 contrasting strands of similar coloured plastic beads with a diamanté bar for a bit of sparkle and silver effect heart!

Hi everyone, I am hoping to add a new dimension to Tuesday’s, ‘what are we wearing at Lello’. This will happen next week so make sure you log on next Tuesday! I am hoping it might be quite a laugh for you and for us.

Today.
Fiona is all in red, grey and tartan today so I thought this would make a good a picture.  She is wearing our long black and red bead necklace, Saturn, made from plastic beads with matching bracelet ‘Mars’. It is very light weight and lovely to wear.

Our new format web site has just been uploaded. It might not look all that different to you, but we have done a lot to it and it will now be a case that we can add new pages and update it more frequently.

I am a bit stumped this morning to know what to write about on our blog.
I am under strict instructions to up date it everyday as we not only very much value everyone who reads it but it also helps our google ranking.

The site has been undergoing some quite major changes (behind the scenes) over the past few weeks and you will notice in a few days that much of the content of our site will have been removed. We have wanted to clean it up and make it more user friendly. You will see that we have decided to remove all our cards, albums and gifts from the site and only concentrate on our jewellery sales as we find that the old site better suits trade customers who are still able to purchase in the same way they always have done.

New pages will gradually be added to the site, so keep a look out for those. We will also continue to add items to our sale page so take a look every few weeks to see what’s new. Our new offer of FREE DELIVERY, is a permanent one! (UK only). Please note that if we receive your order before midday, you order will be dispatched same day! We do use the post office and so far seem to have been un-affected but please bare this in mind in the run up to Christmas.

This is a picture of a party I held in my own home for my neighbours, it proved very popular.

After a number of comments from well meaning people we have decided to start showing our faces on these pictures! thanks to all my friends for asking me to do this!
So now you get to us and the jewellery.
I must stress, these pictures are just to show you our jewellery and which items of the range we all wear to work each day. None of us believe we are budding models!! we just thought it would be fun and I know many of the people who read our blog particularly look on a Tuesday.

Its a chance for you to see how the jewellery looks on.

So first of all it’s me.
I am wearing probably one of the best sets we have ever made, which is a matching sweetheart necklace (£16.00) and bracelet (£8.00). Made from glass beads and a large silver effect heart. This range will be revamped for 2010 to give it a slightly different look. The beads are a grey/green colour and go with most things.
I am also wearing a set of our new earrings, called Sweetheart (£5.00). The silver effect heart matches many of the hearts we use on our bracelets.

That’s what we all said when ex employee Kerry popped in with her gorgeous little girl Ava, 8 months. Everyone rushed for a hold and a squeeze. Kerry worked for Lello for (don’t quote me) about 7 years before she left to have Ava last year.

Always lovely to see them both.
