I am going to cheat today I am afraid because we are a bit thin on the ground with staff.

The designers are too busy and ‘up against it’ to talk to me and many of the others are unloading a lorry!

So instead I will show you some of our new jewellery for Autumn / Winter which this season is modelled by Molly Cooper (16).

Molly is wearing our new long ‘Crater’ necklace, made up of antique metal discs with matching ‘Meteor’ bracelet, which is a long bracelet which coils and wraps round your wrist.

Molly is also wearing our new Grey classic short necklace made of grey glass beads.

On Molly’s right wrist she is wearing our current ‘Alexa’ metal bracelet with heart attachment and chain ‘Gretal’ bracelet with two hanging hearts.

Molly is wearing our current ‘Crystal’ heart locket earrings.

Lastly Molly is sporting one of our new large handbags, ‘Slate’ made from 100% recycled felt and grey flannel with a lovely large black ribbon and gem corsage attached.

Mondays are always interesting, especially after such a lovely sunny weekend.

The office is bustling with children who are just about to leave for the park. Their raised voices (to put it mildly) are causing friction with our designers who are very busy.

I think it will be a trip to one of Leicester’s local museums today for them.

Myself and my colleagues in the office are busy with calls for orders and the usual backlog of Monday mornings emails. We are organising the delivery of all our new aut/wint jewellery and when it is all due to dock.

The new jewellery brochure needs designing too so that’s the next job now after all the photography was done last week.

Later today we will start planning our next Trends Evening which will be held at TKMaxx in Thurmaton in Leicester. The event will be held mid Sept, once a date is booked I will start spreading the word. The first evening we held here on site at Lello was on the hottest day of the year in July and it was desperately hot, but eveyone who came had a great evening.  80 women turned up and the evening was a big success for us. This time round we’d like to aim for 200 guests, it will be a great asset holding the evening at TKMaxx.

Tickets will be on sale (only) here at Lello in Syston in Leicester towards the end of Aug and priced again at £7.50. Those wanting to attend can come in and purchase a ticket or phone up and order over the phone and will post tickets out to you. We will not know until nearer the event if people will be able to buy tickets on the night. It will all depend upon demand. Shoppers will be able to shop at the store after the show and also buy Lello jewellery on the night.

We will be providing all our guests with a wonderful goodie bag like last time for them to take home with them.

Here are some more pictures of the new handbags we are launching at the end of the month.

The same design applies to 3 large bags and 3 small bags, showing here is the large black chenille and the large grey flannel (also comes in Red chenille). Also below the small red chenille and the small black chenille (also comes in grey flannel).

The brooches come on the bag but are detachable and can also be bought separately on their own. The large bag will retail for £49.00 and the small bag will retail for £35.00.

It’s a nice calm morning here at Lello after all the excitement of yesterday’s photoshoot.

My little 3 year old Heidi was absolutely shattered after her modelling debut.

It’s raining outside but we are assured of better weather in the Midlands this afternoon so I am keeping my finger crossed.

We are signing off more of the Autumn / Winter jewellery today when the final samples come in and we will then rush to get some over to our distributor in New Zealand who has a show at the end of the month. For some reason our jewellery sells very well over there so we will pull out all the stops to get them something in time for their exhibition.

Apart from that we have all been discussing what we are doing at Christmas here in the office. It seems far to early to be doing that! We all want to have answers for when our mothers ask us what our plans are!

Pictures look great from our photoshoot today.

We took a quick snap of some of us, myself on the left with my 3 year old Heidi, my niece Sophie 11, and my sister and business partner Fiona, yet again on the phone!

We have had a great morning and the girls performed brilliantly!
Heidi and Sophie were modelling the new Little Lello jewellery, Heidi in pearls and Sophie in the antiqued metal finish necklace bracelet set. More pictures to follow in a few days.

There will be a change to today’s blog as we have our fashion shoot today for Aut/Wint jewellery for our new brochure.

Once I return to the office this afternoon I will upload some pictures to show you what we have been up to!

What a busy Monday.

Children running round the office, constent rain and drizzle outside preventing them from going out on their go carts… not fun.

We have also been shopping for the clothes our new models will wear for the new Aut/Wint jewellery brochure we are shooting tomorrow. My beautiful niece Sophie and my darling little girl Heidi will be modelling the new Little Lello jewellery. I am sure it will be a noisy affair!

We have 500 of them to get out today just to cover our back orders! Not to mention all our current orders for them.
