Today we have this pretty dress from Warehouse, £40.00. Although still in late summer mode I think it would look just as nice worn over a pair of jeans. Or ideal for a day like today when it’s still warm enough to get away with it. In muted shades of pink and purple, ties just under the bust line.

What are we up to here at Lello today?
Moving and dismantaling everything.
I am pleased to report we have secured new premises to move to in October so now the real work begins trying to move us out of this enormous building. It’s amazing the things you come across!!

We will have a lovely little showroom at our new premises and members of the public will be welcome to come and view our jewellery and cards and purchase something if they wish. Watch this space!
The new Aut/Wint jewellery brochure is coming together and should be ready in a few weeks, so it will be all change on the website as we move into Autumn.

On Wednesday’s I usually upload some ‘wise words’ to get people thinking about their day, I have a web site link for you to look at. A friend of mine sent it to me through facebook and last night I sat and watched it. I thought it was pretty amazing.

Today Fiona is wearing our lovely ‘Marcelle’ necklace £13.99. Made up of flat antique, heart shaped metal effect beads and large heart at the bottom, very pretty and comes with matching bracelet, ‘Isabelle’ £8.99.

If you are new to Lello? I can tell you that on a Friday we like to show you ‘on trend’ items of clothing we have seen at ‘OUTFIT’ at our local Thurmaston store in Leicester. Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis are all available at OUTFIT.

 The staff at our local store have been kind enough to let us use their clothes each season for our jewellery brochures and also allow us to pop in each week and take photo’s of the garments we like to show to you ‘our customers’.

On Tuesday’s we have ‘what are we wearing at Lello today’ showing you our own Lello jewellery and which pieces we are wearing here in the office. Wednesday’s you will find our ‘wise words’  little quotes or anecdotes to make us all think about our day. Monday’s and Thursday’s I update the Lello blog with news of what we are up to. This week we have gone for muted shades from OUTFIT which would suit the cross over we now find ourselves in between summer and autumn.

Fiona is wearing a light weight knit jumper from warehouse in a soft muted putty/pink colour £40.00. This jumper comes quite long  and is just too short to be worn as a dress but would look lovely with skinny jeans. Cute little bobbly waistcoat by Dorothy Perkins, £25.oo and gorgeous lace and bobble scarf by Warehouse £20. All match perfectly.

I think it must be pretty wet for everyone today, it’s been a challenge keeping our children occupied today.

I have decided to go with 2 quotes today, both very different.

The first one is by ‘Maya Angelou’ from 1928, I had to read it a few times before it’s true meaning sunk in.

The second and a little more light hearted is by Marilyn Monroe:-

What are we up to at Lello today? Fiona is still working on the first of our new card ranges which we are both quite pleased with. Pretty and glittery is the theme!

I will be working on the alternations to our new Aut/Wint jewellery brochure, continuing to clear this vast building for our impending move in Oct and counting stock! Karen

Well I have taken a picture of myself this morning wearing our classic pearl bracelet and ‘Tock’, the two bracelets I am wearing but annoyingly I can’t get the blog to upload the picture.

This does happen from time to time and it is very frustrating. So I am sorry I can’t show you this picture today. I will try again later and in the morning and see if it will work then.

So to make up for it I thought I’d post you a joke instead, sent to me by a friend (thanks again Mel x).

I can hear our children above me in the playroom (here at Lello) making far too much noise! so I’ve just been up to ask them to cool it. All four have acivities this afternoon which will take them out so this should keep them all happy and give the girls looking after them some restbite.

Fiona is working on our new range of handmade cards which will launch next month, they are looking very pretty and sparkly!
I am gradually working through our building as we move premises in a few months so there is a lot to sort out.
We have a number of orders going out today and I am hoping to hear when our delivery of jewellery is due in so I can make room for that.

According to Grazia magazine this is ‘drop week’ when lots of high street stores get a large drop of new Aut/Winter clothes.

The image below is of me in a Warehouse swing Aztek design cardigan £40.00. Very soft and comfortable to wear in grey and pretty pale shades. It has 3/4 sleeves and went perfectly with what I was wearing. 

I really loved it and I am very tempted to go back and get one. (Supported by OUTFIT).
